MySociety.org is looking to select two projects and then seek funding to bring them to fruition. You can submit your ideas online. They stress they have no funding yet, but are waiting to choose their two projects. They are looking for ideas similar to those that have produced UpMyStreet.com, FaxYourMp.com, Timebank.org.uk and LiftShare.com. They argue “it is precisely because we can’t name a large number of such projects that MySociety is needed.” As UK Fundraising nears its ninth anniversary of using the Internet to share fundraising expertise at no cost, and with no external funding, we couldn’t agree more.
